Examples of Custom Gobo’s

You can review our entire catalog of designs when we meet to plan the details of your special wedding day.

What is a Gobo?

The Gobo is an image of the bride and groom’s name or monogram, with or without your wedding or birth date, projected on to either the dance floor or wall during the reception.

How do we choose a Gobo design?

We work with special Gobo Design companies who will take your selection, which is then die-cut into a metal disk about the size of a silver dollar. The disk is then inserted into a Gobo projector which is mounted on a light stand near the dance floor.

How large will the image be?

The Gobo image can be up to 4 feet wide on the dance floor and up to 6 feet wide when projected on to a wall, space permitting and depending on where we can set up the projector in the function hall.

What color will the image be?

The Gobo is created to be a crisp white color to project the sharpest image and blend neutrally with your color scheme.

Which projection is best - Dance Floor or Wall?

This really depends on the function hall layout and/or how the banquet manage arranges the room. The dance floor allows for a great first impression with guests since it is typically empty during the cocktail hour and dinner. When your guests enter the hall and see your names projected on the dance floor you will have created that “Wow” factor. They will immediately realize that your reception is going to be special. This will also create an amazing backdrop effect for your first dance.

How do we add the Gobo to enhance our special day?

The Gobo can be added to any package. You must submit your custom Gobo order no later than eight weeks prior to your event. The complete cost is $150. This includes the artwork, fabrication and equipment setup. Following your reception we will present you with your custom Gobo as a keepsake to remember that special day.
